Man was that depressing. But I can't disagree with a word. We know what Biden and company are. But the question must be asked. WHAT THE HELL IS NETANYAHU THINKING?

We were talking about that today at my house. It seems to me that Netanyahu is doing what he does best, walking a tightrope to hold on to power for another day. I don't see any coherent policy. I didn't even talk about the domestic pressure in this article. I don't see how Netanyahu's government survives the summer, but he has defied all such analysis in the past.

I would hate to think he's deliberately selling out his country's interest to stay in power. I think he's always felt unable to really defy the United States with the single exception of the Obama nuclear fiasco with Iran. He's actually wiley but pretty weak.

Netanyahu is not popular in Israel right now. But likewise he is showing the work that Israel does not answer to the U.S. It is so complex, but these are the 2 points that stand out in my mind.

He's not popular for a lot of reasons. Number one 10/7 happened on his watch. But the effort of the Democrats to separate him from Israel as if he is some dictator instead of the head of a unity government fighting an existential war is grotesque.
